Refund Policy

Effective date: 8 March 2026

At Yince Snacks, all items are made to order and are perishable food products. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and when they are not.

1) No refunds for breakage/damage in transit

Because our items are handmade pastries and snacks, they can sometimes crack, crumble, or break during delivery/handling. We do not offer refunds for items that arrive broken or physically damaged (for example, a cracked meat pie or broken chin-chin), as long as the items have been delivered.

2) Refunds may be available for undelivered orders

You may be eligible for a refund if your order is not delivered and the issue is not caused by:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address provided by you

  • No one being available to receive the order (where delivery requires handover)

  • Missing access information (e.g., gate codes) not provided

  • A refusal to accept the delivery

If delivery fails due to one of the reasons above, a refund may not be available and you may need to pay for re-delivery.

3) Refunds may be available for spoiled items (bad/unsafe quality)

If your order arrives spoiled (for example, an obvious smell, leakage, mould, or signs it is unsafe to eat), we will review and may offer a refund or replacement, depending on the situation.

To report a spoiled order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number/name

  • Photos and/or a short video

  • A brief description of the issue

We may also ask for additional information (e.g., delivery time received) to help investigate.

4) No refunds for customer handling/storage issues

We cannot refund items where the quality issue is due to:

  • Delayed collection from a safe place

  • Items being left outside or unattended

  • Incorrect storage after delivery/collection

  • Reheating or handling issues after receipt

5) Cancellations (made-to-order)

Once preparation/baking has started, cancellations may not be possible. If you need to cancel or amend an order, contact us as soon as possible after placing it. Any refund (if applicable) will be at our discretion based on whether we have started preparing the order.

6) How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method (card). If you paid by bank transfer (on request), we will arrange the refund to a bank account you provide.
